Good Roots Nutrition
Cultivating wellness from the ground up
About
Welcome! I’m Mariah, dietitian and founder of Good Roots Nutrition. My journey to functional nutrition began with an early curiosity about using food as medicine and preventive health. This curiosity deepened through my personal health-related struggles and my observations in traditional healthcare, where I noticed that nutrition was often overlooked. Working in traditional counseling roles within long-term care and community health settings highlighted the need for more individualized care, and the importance and transformative power of nutrition and lifestyle adjustments. This, along with my love of food, fascination with the interplay of the human body and its environment, and the desire to help people to truly feel well is what led me to establish Good Roots Nutrition.
I am dedicated to helping women to feel well and thrive. My focus is on moving beyond restrictive diets and confusion, and to embrace nourishment, connectedness, and overall well-being. Through education and collaboration, I strive to help clients build positive health habits that lead to sustainable, long-term health improvements.

I look forward to partnering with you on your journey to better health and well-being.
